Higherground Manager/Assistant Manager

Reports to the Coordinator of Student Organizations and Late Night Activities

Responsibilities

  • Direct personnel, including hiring, evaluation, payroll, scheduling, training and reporting
  • Direct programming, including scheduling, working with outside groups to co-sponsor events, set-up and strike of performances, coordination of overall event array
  • Control inventory of music and equipment and arrange for purchase, replacement, repair, and maintenance of all items
  • Promote Higherground as a viable programming space to student groups and organizations
  • Maintain cross-training in all staff positions in order to fill openings in staff schedule
  • Act as main student staff liaison to dining services management
