New Instructional Staff Information
Welcome to the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire! This site has been developed to assist you in feeling at home on our campus and in our community.
The orientation program designed to acquaint you with the University, help prepare you to teach your classes, and offer the opportunity to meet other faculty and staff begins from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm on Monday, August 19, 2013 In Hibbard Hall, Room 318 with a course development workshop. A continental breakfast and lunch will be provided. The program resumes on Wednesday, August 21, 2013, from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm in the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL; Old Library 1142) with a continental breakfast beginning at 8:30 am and a buffet lunch at noon. The Wednesday orientation program involves a walking and discussion tour, so please dress casually, wear comfortable shoes, and let us know if you will need special accommodations. Orientation continues on Friday, August 23, 2013, and Monday, August 26, 2013, with concurrent sessions for new-to-Eau Claire educators as well as returning faculty and staff. Sessions will run from 9:00 am to noon.
