New Staff Information

Welcome to the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire! This site has been developed to assist you in feeling at home on our campus and in our community.

New Employee Orientation for Classified Staff and Administrative and Professional Academic Staff takes places on a monthly basis. For more information on an upcoming session, please contact Melissa Binick in Human Resources (binickms@uwec.edu; 836-2515).

Orientation for new Faculty and Instructional Academic Staff will take place on Monday, August 22, 2011, beginning at 9:00 a.m. in the Riverview Cafe in Hilltop Center. 

The Opening Academic Year Calendar includes a schedule of events for the first two weeks of the academic year.

We know that you have many unanswered questions. Check out the New Faculty/Staff Survival Guide. We hope it will address your most immediate concerns.

We have also put together a Faculty and Staff Information Manual with more extensive information about our institution and the surrounding area; things that you may not need right now. Hopefully it will be helpful to you as you establish your career and life in Eau Claire.
