Welcome and thank you for your interest in the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire’s chapter of the American Marketing Association! We would like to encourage and invite you to explore the pages of this Web site and learn all that our organization has to offer.

The UW-Eau Claire’s chapter of the American Marketing Association is a professional business organization aimed at providing members with continual knowledge, motivation, and the leadership skills necessary to be successful on an individual and team level in today’s business world.

Consisting of approximately seventy general members, twenty five directors, and seven executive board members, our chapter is one of the largest and most dynamic business organizations on the UW - Eau Claire campus. Our membership includes a vast variety of majors including marketing, accounting, management, public relations, advertising, information systems, and even chemistry!

A few reasons the American Marketing Association draws such a diverse realm of majors is because it offers numerous benefits and skills for students to learn that are not just marketing specific. For example, our chapter organizes a resume and employment portfolio workshop, a campus-wide “Internship Mania,” we focus on public speaking and communication skills, promote ethics in all business settings, and place a large emphasis on team work.

In addition to the UW -Eau Claire campus, our chapter has an undeniable presence in the community. Helping such charities as the Indianhead Area Special Olympics, Junior Achievement, elementary school tutoring, and the Adopt-a-Highway program are all invaluable to the spirit of our chapter.
