The 2015 Evening of Champions was a Success!
The UWEC 4n6 team will be heading out to Portland, Oregon on April 2nd to compete at the 2015 American Forensics Association national tournament! Then they will turn back around and leave for the 2015 National Forensics Association national tournament in Athens, Ohio on April 14th.
UW-Eau Claire, Wisconsin State Forensics Champions 31 Years in a Row!
The UWEC Forensics Team travelled to UW-Stout to compete in the Wisconsin College Forensics Association State Tournament on Friday and Saturday (2/20-21/2015). The team had previously belived that they had won 22 years in a row, but after many conversations with alumni over the past few months and finally getting confirmation of a results sheet from 1983 showing UWEC taking 2nd place to UW-Madisone; it is finally confirmed…. UWEC Forensics took first place at the 2015 WCFA Tournament for the 31st year in a row!

The UW - Eau Claire's Forensics team is a collegiate speech team which competes throughout the year at 11 different tournaments across the country. There are a total of 11 different events in which students participate in, including limited prep, public address, and interpretation events.
Additionally, the UW-Eau Claire's Forensics team is one of the only programs in the country that have attended both of the national tournaments throughout their existence. The team attended the first ever AFA-NIET and has annually since. Additionally, the team has attended the NFA national tournament since it's second year. The program has a long history and legacy that exists as the team's foundation, which is built upon every year by each new team and new talent.
