Forensics is a competitive speech activity.  The Blugold Forensics team, Wisconsin state champions for 17 consecutive years, travels to tournaments as close as UW-Stout and as far away as Texas, Virginia, and Florida.  The season starts in late September and runs until nationals in April.

Blugold 4n6 Headlines

• UWEC will be hosting the AFA-NIET on April 2-4, 2010.  Remember that it is a Fri-Sun schedule this year.  Click here for hotel information. The Campus Area Holiday Inn will also be the official tournament hotel for the October MAFLs in Eau Claire and Wisconsin LoveFest.
• UWEC is hosting a new tournament this year with James Madison University on Halloween Weekend!  It is called "Match Made in Heaven" and will alternate locations each year.  This year’s tournament will be at James Madison in Harrisburg, VA. Click here for the entry!
• The 2010 GWIET will be a Friday/Saturday tournament as a real AFA Warmup and will offer 3 rounds of competition.  There will still be the swing with Ripon on Sunday…Bring your best to the warm up on Friday and Saturday and business as usual on Sunday for Ripon’s 2 round/final tournament on Sunday.
